SIP Trunks / VOIP Trunks
A SIP Trunk or VOIP Trunk is simply a VoIP connection for your telephone system. SIP Trunk or VOIP Trunks is a connection from a telephone system using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) to an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider).
A SIP or VOIP Trunk carries Voice and or data via a dedicated ‘trunk’ across the web, a portion of the bandwidth is reserved for those services, rather than across ordinary internet routes. SIP Trunking is therefore faster and more reliable, being less prone to performance issues as determined by the volume of public web traffic.

- Number flexibility - You can have different dialling codes for a single office regardless of its location. For example a London office with a Manchester dialling code.
