When putting a name on a DS5007 handset if the letter is on the same key how do I get to the next letter?
Names are written using the number keys. Each press of a key selects a character, as shown on the selected key. Pressing a different key moves the cursor to the right. For example, you want to enter the name “SAM SMITH." The first letter “S” is selected by pressing the dial key number 7 four times (i.e. the first key press selects “P”, the second selects “Q”, etc). Then press the number 2. This moves the cursor and selects the letter “A.”
When the next character you want appears on the same key as the character you have just entered press the volume UP key to move the cursor to the right, and then select the next character.

We have a Samsung 7100 and all the information we have shows that each handset has 50 speed (00-49) dials but we only have 10 (00 -09) how do we get more?
The Samsung OfficeServ 7100 & 7200 range of systems has capacity for 2000 speed dials and the 7400 has 2500. The speed dials are split across both the system speed dials and personal speed dials. Each handset is allocated 10 personal speed dials in default and you can change this up to 50 speed dials using program 606. You assign the speed dials to individual extensions in blocks of 10 so for 50 speed dials you would assign 5 blocks.
