Samsung DCS 816 Main cabinet
The DCS-816 Main cabinet or Key Service Unit (KSU) is a single metal cabinet containing the following:
- A power supply
- Processing, memory and switching:
- CPU (68EC000)
- 2 M byte program memory
- 256 Kbyte data memory with a backup super capacitor
- Real-time clock
- Two analogue C.O. line interfaces with connections for PRS or MPD chips.
- Twelve digital keyset interfaces
- Four single line telephone interfaces with loop-disconnect facilities
- One Internal Music source or an External Music interface for Music-on-Hold and Background Music
- One External Page interface
- One general-purpose dry contact
- Two Power Failure Transfer relays
- A 1.5W sinusoidal ring generator for single line telephones
- One trunk expansion slot, one SIO option connection for SIO1 and one AA option connection
- One champ connector
- One RJ-45 connector for external connections and other connectors for the Power Supply Unit and the external backup battery.
