Hosted VOIP is where your telephone system in traditional terms, is hosted in a secure facility and users access an administrative calling system via an online portal.
Your connection to the Hosted system would be via a data connection such as ADSL, SDSL or lease line.
The advantages of Hosted VOIP are:
- Number flexibility - You can have different dialling codes for a single office regardless of its location.
- Number retention - You can retain your number even if the business relocates.
- Disaster recovery - If for any reason there is a problem with your office you can quickly and easily divert numbers.
